Why I built Norimo
A personal word from the founder.
Language learning should spark curiosity and motivation, yet many learning platforms are loud, hectic, and full of distractions. Animations, time pressure, reward systems, and constantly new stimuli can make learning unnecessarily exhausting. For autistic, neurodivergent, or easily overstimulated people especially, the learning environment itself can sometimes become an obstacle.
That's why I built Norimo.
Norimo is meant to offer a calm and reliable place to learn languages: with clear structure, understandable exercises, and as few distractions as possible. Everyone should be able to learn at their own pace, repeat content, and take breaks, without pressure and without feeling like they have to keep up with others.
At the same time, Norimo isn't meant exclusively for neurodivergent people. A clear, low-stimulation learning environment can help anyone who wants to concentrate better and prefers to learn calmly, at their own pace, step by step.
My goal is a language learning platform that adapts to different people, rather than expecting everyone to adapt to the same way of learning.
